Are You Living in the Real World? + Wings of Liberty

Post by Pwolf » Fri Oct 29, 2010 2:13 am

I haven't been paying attention... how many Inception trailers are out there? D: I've been editing this video for several months now and had the idea way before the movie came out so... >.>

Anyway, i thought Cowboy Bebop fit very well, i hope someone else does also. The name of the video is a reference to the little title card they show at the end of the movie. I thought it actually fits very well and decided it should be the name of the video. Anyway, I hope it at least stands out from the others, that's all I really care about. If you want know more about the video and the audio editing I did, read the video notes.

While making the above video, I decided to finally stop using the StarCraft2 box as mouse pad for my HTPC and actually play it. I was pleasently suprised there were a bunch of cut scenes and a real story to follow between each mission. I decided shortly after beating the game that I wanted to make a trailer for it, so I did. I did a lot of audio work on this, i'm actually pretty proud of it. When the next two installment are released I plan on doing the same thing. I hope people enjoy this and maybe make some people who didn't want to give the game a chance, pick it up and play it.

The Inception trailer fit well for the most part, but muting Page sounded pretty weird. I liked the juxtaposition of dialogue without her though.

"Mr. Cobb has a job he'd like to offer you."
"Not exactly."

HAvn't played the game but this is by far my favourite video of yours. I wish I could see the original source material to see how much work you did with the audio. This felt like a full on cinematic trailer for a movie and totally got my blood pumping. Fucking epic work Scott 5/5

In regards to the Inception trailer it was pretty good but didn't offer anything new for me that made it stand out from other Inception trailer AMVs. I did really like Spike as Leo though. In his first dialogue clip Spike looks exactly how the voice sounds. Agreed with Kit on the fact it seemed a little offputting having her dialogue muted. 3/5

Holy crap, that starcraft 2 trailer is even better than the actual trailer. If I didn't know you made it, I would have easily mistaken it for an actual trailer. Blizzard should hire you :P

I liked the Inception trailer since it's the only one I've seen. Great stuff.

Dude.

Wings of Liberty trailer is fuckin amazing. I am so goddamn impressed. The pacing of some of the stuff in middle seemed to drag a little bit, but on the whole, it's damn near perfect. VERY well done.

As for the Inception trailer, it's not bad. It didn't grab me but I did enjoy it.

Didn't enjoy much the Bebop video, mostly due to all the Inception videos.

But Wings Of Liberty was very well done, gj The King Waffle O:
