I'm not exactly sure how long this took but it felt like a while. It's a relief to get it done since I kept finding things to fix after I rendered it.
Anyway, I'm pretty new at this so criticism is welcome

Re: The Dead of Light
First thing I'll mention are the effects. Overkill. It's not the fact there were TONNES, but more so that they were badly done. For the most part I couldn't really see the scene because you had added a really strong blur to it and you used a lot of blurs to sync to quite a good part of the beats too, I'm not saying blurs are bad but some variety would be nice.
Another effect I really disliked was the cookie cutter wipe you used quite a few times as a transition. Especially because it had a huge white border which was really distracting and didn't fit at all, it actually gives off the impression to most viewers as amateurish because it looks like a default FX in SV.
Scene selection was hella random too. o.o Didn't feel like it connected with the song at all. D:
Pacing for the majority was ok but I felt like some parts just didn't seem to quite fit....like I couldn't see what you were synching to so it kinda screwed up the pacing for me.
That being said, one thing I did like was the colouring. The sharp contrast with the black borders occasionally really adds to the dark and crazy atmosphere of the song. (which I love ) And the flow...wasn't brilliant but it wasn't too badly done either.
In general, it was not bad considering you said you were new at this. Just some more practice and watching other people's AMVs and you'll get there Also I wouldn't say no to having some beta testers to help out with FX and editing advice! ^^
