- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.

Re: Reaching for it
The video itself was nicely done. The mood and pacing was really nicely flowing with the msuic. The fonty storytelling was also a VERY nice touch, but I wish the font was just a tad nicer to look at and just a tad longer. Although it was a nice speed if you consider it in the same realm as "final thoughts before death racing through your mind" kind of thing.
Visually speaking, the footage could have used a little cleaning up. The right and left sides needed some cropping to get rid of the stuff that the DVDs left behind, which is odd, because some scenes had them and others didn't. It was really blocky and the edges were blurry. I also spied some interlacing. :O Check out our tech guide for more help on that.
But overall, very nicely done. The editing was spot on, and I thought that the blurs/fades were a nice touch to help keep our attention.
I do wish it had been longer though. I felt like the video could have really done a great series recap instead of just the final few episodes.
Also, I've got to admit that this is one of the most spoilerific videos I've ever seen. XD

Re: Reaching for it
I got chills at so many points of this awesomeness.
This was awesome, really really awesome. You captured the emotion very well and it was a great song choice too. :'D
My only gripes would be that the beginning was a taaaaad slow, and at the point with the text, it ran a bit fast and faded away too quickly. I could read a few fully, but not all of them in time. So slower text or perhaps less of the dialogue at the same pacing would've been better.
But otherwise, sweet God you made my day with this.

Usually I have never a problem with interlacing altho I use the exact same rendersettings so I don't know what went wrong hereCodeZTM wrote:Visually speaking, the footage could have used a little cleaning up. Whenever I was able to reduce the interlacing, the quality dropped to a terrible level. So I picked a middle way. Seriously you should've seen the first render it was horrible
I know, but my attentionspan is too short, I can't really work on long videos... I was proud I could overcome myself to finish this lolCodeZTM wrote:I do wish it had been longer though. I felt like the video could have really done a great series recap instead of just the final few episodes.
