Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Dreaming in Euphoria
I know bits aren't entirely perfect, but overall I'm genuinely happy with the finished product. This might not be the best video out there, but of those who decide to give this a go, I'm pretty sure you will be pleasantly surprised.
Enjoy, have fun, leave a comment here or whatever ^^. Take what you will from this - I hope it brightens up your day!

I thought your editing style matched rather well to the style of the anime. There was an errant frame at 56s and even as a fan of the show, I thought the scenes between 1:18 and 1:57 were out of place. I still liked the rest though. Thank you for this.

Some parts I felt were awkwardly synched and didn't really flow right with the rest of the video but in general it was nice. Good job!

Re: Dreaming in Euphoria
First of all, I think it was really ballsy to edit with this song, so I gotta commend you for that.
Meanwhile, I think the video relied WAY too heavily on hitting the beats of the drums, which really disrupted the flow of the AMV, especially in the beginning. Around th 2 minute mark, you really hit the flow of the asong and anime extremely well, and I wish the rest of the video had been like that.
That being said, I enjoyed it, and I thought you did a great job with it. Although ending early was a big no-no.

Re: Dreaming in Euphoria
Thank you guys, I really do appreciate the feedback!
Looks like you all caught me out here, roughly everything from beyond the 2minute mark was edited rather recently, whilst everything before that was edited during January, March and May last year.
The reason why I cut it early was due to the fact that I was running out of moving footage, and I panicked because I really do suck at editing with static footage.
And yup, I fully see where you are coming from with the oversyncing of beats...lets chop that up at an experimental editing style and an eventual change in vision over the course of the video.
I'm actually pretty happy this has gotten an overall positive response. Cheers!
