Pretty Cure allstars

Post by slimcliffy » Mon Jun 06, 2011 11:09 pm

Due to the 100 meg limit, I could not pull the colors as strong as I wanted. I don't like how h264 makes colors start to wash out at lower bit rates. I down scaled to to 720 x 480 and managed to get some of it back. Just with a full movement video with lots of color and contrast h264 fails at low bitrate, but It turned out ok I'm uploading a 10mbit stream to http://www.youtube.com/user/slimcliffy in 1080p if interested. I'm sure everyone here has the knows how to get it from youtube.

Enjoy :D
I'm going to do something now that you hardcore guys should think about doing. I'm going to go out side of my house and play with my kids. Then Have a few drinks at the bar. Have flcl with my wife before I goto bed.
The Rest of you need to get out of your mom's place and get a JOB and a girlfriend. Your mom is tired of you...

It's cute, but if you took your time to edit it could of fit better with the song. example the "hey hey you you" could be like editing the characters when they are pointing or like maybe quick close up shots.

the best part that came together was at 1:58 -2:38 The big breakdown had all the characters there began dancing, and then you had the cheerleading part with them clapping.

should I respond to this?¿ Did you even watch it?¿
ya what ever the intro is fine. lol Have you ever went to a concert and found the best songs played at the beginning no. That's why it's a intro it's good, but not the best part. I really don't care about any zoom shots even know it has a ton of them to begin with. Fact is it's sink, cam angles are sink dance is sink, and even little background voices giggles are sink. Don't come at me with editing time. Your topical amv is just skipping around frames finding what works. I made this amv flow as if it was FMV... so give it a rest I have 3m37sec of seamless flow that fits. When you can do that call me on editing.

Alright, then /I/ will call you on editing. At first I thought "Sweet, someone edited with Pretty Cure All Stars!" and then I see your response to the one and ONLY person who has commented on your video so far. So let me point this out. Almost all of your video is just big blocks of unedited Pretty Cure All Stars ending. Yes, you did edit some. But so little, that I can even tell you where:

0:01-0:10 - You moved Milky Rose to come out first, the next four scenes are all in the exact time and order they are displayed in the anime.
0:10-0:37 - The Heartcatch Cures' dance sequence. All one scene, you didn't do any editing.
0:37-1:46 - Pretty Cure and Fresh Pretty Cure's dance sequences. Again, all one scene, no editing.
1:46-3:03 - The finale with all the Cures. Once again, all one scene, no editing.
3:03-3:30 - Went a little backwards in the footage and used the Yes Precure 5's dance sequence. Sadly, you also did not edit this.
3:30-3:38 - And back to the finale, but still not edited.

Now before you go all "Nuh uh!" I popped your video into my editing program where I just happened to have the PreCure DX2 ending already prepped. You didn't change the speed or do anything to the footage at all except for make the above cuts. So you made about 6 edits. In a song that's over three minutes. Mind you, this footage will synch to just about anything. Believe me, I've played around with it quite a bit. So don't pretend as though you did sooo much work and snap at the first person to try to give you a little bit of constructive criticism.

It was a little flat to be honest.

I got the feeling while watching it that alot of scenes where just running without any actual cuts or edits but wasn't sure since I've never watched the Precure ending before, so thanks for that.

While a lot of parts flow well a lot of feels like its missed something and I agree with others that its seems flat in a lot of places too.

Trust me, I've seen like six videos so far Ileia's edited with this source and it's one of those things that magically syncs (at least to some degree) with ANY audio you pair it with.

Also, on a related note: Dear author of thread, YOU GOT TOLD, SON! OSNAP!

Lol yeah, I got a hold of the source and started throwing random songs at and it always surprisingly works to some degree.

To start this is AMV Announcements, I posted on right, and not help? Therefor advice is not a opinion. Things like it sucks, it's good, and It's flat. Is all I want to here, That's why I said, "should I respond to this?¿"
Mods at most sites normally delete, warn, or close for going off topic to prevent trolling. Sorry I'm new to this site, maybe it is different here.

(We are already off topic ,so let the flames roll!!!!)

[Mod #4423: Edited down due to excessive language and attempts at flaming. Please, if you can't stand criticism of others, just ignore it.]
