Rygart's Last Stand
My latest (and maybe last??) amv, featuring Break Blade.
I try hard not to forget the editing hobby although I rarely watch anime nowadays.Blame the quality of the new anime for this...
Enjoy and comment.
Direct link has the 720p version but it's double in size...

Re: Rygart's Last Stand
sorta hard on the eyes, the 360 version. ummm ..
were you aware of the double-imaging on most of
your robots cuts? ( haven't seen that error in a while :p )
. Nice timing, simple but effective.
I'm not a fan of this series, nor your song selection however
I do have an eye for Xvid/Divx errors. With that in mind; 4/5

Re: Rygart's Last Stand
I thought the whole thing was just a little slow when compared to the music. That being said, it did have a pretty nice element of dramatic action to it. It definitely flourished better as a drama video than an action video. The lyrics and the scenes really spoke to each other nicely. The story was subtle [and almost non-existant until the middle], but it came through nicely after several watches. I kind of wish we had a better setup on the story earlier on, but I can't complain overtly about that, since I kind of grasped it eventually.
But it was still nice. I'm glad to see you're editing again.

Re: Rygart's Last Stand
First of all, thanks for commenting. The 360 version really lets the amv down, the anime quality and animation is appreciated with at least 720p imo.Concerning the double-imaging, I know that there are some scenes like that (0:17, 1:30 for example) but I don't think that's the majority. Also, these specific scenes were like that from the source...post-it wrote:sorta hard on the eyes, the 360 version. ummm ..

Concerning song selection,I'm sure I'll hear this complain a lot.^^
Still, the song got stuck in my head and goes well with this type of amv...
Once again, thanks for your comments. The story is practically non-existant and the few hints I put inside just give a general impression of what might go on between the characters. The song also doesn't help to insist more on the story but like you said, you can imagine it after some watches.CodeZTM wrote:I thought the whole thing was just a little slow when compared to the music. Re: Rygart's Last Stand
Might be your last? Noooooo
Though I'm not really one to talk as I think I'm in the same boat =P
I haven't seen the series, so the video didn't really build up properly for me, but it was a nice watch. Will drop an op soon.

Well,I'm not sure if this will be my last amv but certainly I'm in no mood to edit any anime right now.Although I edit some mini-movies I make with my buddies...^^
Thanks man.Glad you liked it.The movies are very good but leave you with a sore feeling when reaching the end.AimoAio wrote: x2. It was a nice watch though and definitely got me interested in this movie.
Mainly because it ends kinda abruptly while the manga continues.Still, give it a shot...
