Re: Love Like Woe (Suzumiya Haruhi amv)
I think you did a pretty good job. I do have a few things I think you could have improved upon though:
*:10-:15 - If you're going to try and hit all those piano beats, you need to really hit them all and not just eyball it. Because it goes off sync at some time, and just makes it odd to watch.
*If you're going to do lip sync, you REALLY need to do it will, as well as have a point of it. To me, it was really off and off as to if it was necessary, and the execution of it was off and off.
*Some of the colored effects work (like at 1:59, 2:56, or 2:02) kind of comes out of nowhere, especially when the rest of the video doesn't focus on that kind of style.
*Some scenes were really long and didn't add much to the video. Like at :34-:36. Kind of breaks the flow, especially with such an upbeat/peppy song like this one.
*I think the BIGGEST issue is that you tried to attempt some literal sync when it was available like at 1:39, when it wasn't necessary, and you changed the whole flow of the AMV. Plus, the addition of the Disappearance of Haurhi Suzumiya was odd. It had a different art style and coloring, which didn't mesh well with the rest of the video's light/upbeat footage.
_______________
But you also did some really adorably cute things too!
:37-42, :47-:53, 2:12-2:56 was extremely well executed. This is where you really went with the flow of the song well, and really kept a good pace without trying to change things.
_______________
Overall, it wasn't bad. It just needed some polish here and there and work on some scene selection a little.
(Also, just a random note here, but I'm still watching All I need is you, and it's staying very solid on my work playlist. :3)

Re: Love Like Woe (Suzumiya Haruhi amv)
Thank you for your input. I came to notice a lot of it went slightly out of sync after I moved the "intro" part into the amv (which I hadn't noticed until after rendering a bazillion times and uploading it to the server). It really disappointed me when I saw that, but I had already deleted the project by this point.
Though I'm sure there were parts that needed improvement anyway, I'll definitely work harder on that.
I've been experimenting with different styles, so they probably all meshed together in this amv ^^; You have a point though, some of it doesn't flow right.
Thank you

Oh and you are dead right about the intro/piano parts. It was 8am and I got into the mindset of: I DON'T CARE ANYMORE. *just puts random scenes in there and calls it a night*
I should have just waited to finish it, it was the last part of the amv I did -_- I kind of hated myself for that one.
