- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

All That You Can't Leave Behind
We are back.
This is what we created for you today:
This is a tribute for amv and we consider it to be its sequel. We hope, you find it to your tastes.
This project was planned to be released in 2006 and it was 70% ready when project was put on hold for indefinite time. Life is a harsh mistress. Adding to that, a couple of years ago, project was almost lost by accident, but we managed to save project file and one last render. We spend almost 1.5 year rebuilding this project from zero, having an old render for reference, but we still managed to remake it in even better quality. But this accident also affected all the masks in the project - many of them was displaced and we struggled hard to refit them. Majority of them is perfectly fixed, but some minor glitches persists still.
Interesting fact: If you spend four hours a day on this project, excluding hollidays, and assuming that you will do all the planning during working hours, then you can finish it within 10-12 months. If you have your personal slave to do all the masking then you can shorten this time by half. Enjoy. )
Its not all what we gonna bring you today. Instead of creating another 'Making Of' video, we will just simply share with you with every single project files we have, so you can learn anything you may wish to learn yourself. So, just grab this torrent. Its all yours.
To open it and to make sure you will have no problems navigating through it, you may need this set of software:
Adobe After Effect CS4, DivX 6.9.2, plugins set - BCC, FEC, DigiEffects, DFT, Sapphire, Pete's Plugins and, possibly, Red Giant
We will answer your questions in this thread, if its not violating any rules this forum has, otherwise just tell us to create another thread in other specialized forum. Have fun.
P.S.
And lastly - in this amv, Faye plays cards with Vash. First one to correctly describe all the cards used will get special unique prize from us! Grab your chances - there can be only one!

When we realized you returned back, we first thought was a troll. But no, we realized it was you
I'll leave an Op with all my impressions. I had faith in your entry as I told you in AKROSS, and you didn't dissapoint me, specially when I like to make crossover stories.
The masking, the story, justice has been made after AKROSS Con 2004

This is one for the ages. And worthy of being called Tainted Donut's sequel.
Bravo.

Re: All That You Can't Leave Behind
It's ridiculous how well put together this is. Totally worth the awards it took in Akross.
I find it just plain amazing how good this video is guys.
Great job Scorpions, you are truly justified AMV-legends in many viewers eyes - and there are good reasons for that.
Hope it won't take another 7 years for the next big video

It's great to see a new AMv. An awesome AMV at that. Easily one of my favorite AMVs of the year.

Re: All That You Can't Leave Behind
There is only one thing to say: epic.
Tainted Donuts is one of my favourite AMVs of all time and I can safely say your AMV is both a worthy tribute/sequel, and an incredible AMV on its own. Enjoy the win at Akross, you deserved it.
