Re: Furious Fujikido: Ninja Slayer
the animation of your source was actually a really big turn off for me. I had never seen it before, so at first I thought that all of your scenes just had bad masking in them. In terms of things that you actually had control over, I don't feel that your video had enough lip sync in it. There were so many lines spoken in the video that didn't really have a character on screen at the time. I feel that real trailers can get away with that, but its a bit harder for AMV trailers to do it. And because of this, the source combo didn't feel as strong

Re: Furious Fujikido: Ninja Slayer
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I went out on a limb with Ninja Slayer since it's not as well known and a very different animation style than what people were expecting when Trigger announced the show. I did keep it more to the pacing and cuts of the original trailer and thought that might work with the fast pace of the trailer as well as the animation style. If you haven't seen, half the show is most definitely stationary characters sliding across the screen with some intermittent animation and of course real fire explosions. Worth a watch for sure but not everyone's cup of tea.
