Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Post by RurouniTJ » Thu Jun 05, 2003 12:20 pm

I guess I'm the new kid here...my name's TJ and I've just posted my first video...Kenshin's fight with Cho of the Juppongatana set to old Final Fantasy fight music. I hope it goes over well!

Hmm, sorry you thought so. Personally, I thought the pacing worked out pretty well, not so far off from that of a fight in an actual Final Fantasy game. Maybe you're just more of a Baldur's Gate person?

Just got done watching.. it's fun. :P

I especially like seeing the video match up with the music starting around 0:50. That part's really good for some odd reason..

I was thinkin of making an AMV with some of the battles songs from FFVII, but who knows how that'll turn out..
Anyways, I enjoyed your first vid.

Sorry, I was thinking here of 16-bit audio as produced by the Super Nintendo, if I'm not too much mistaken. An audio whiz I definitely am not.

And burntoast, I see what you mean about it coming together a little more at the 50 second mark. I'm not quite sure what it is, myself, but I appreciate the feedback!
