Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

"screaming infidelities"
This was my first (and only) try at an AMV, but please don't let that detail scare you off.
With the exception of a few, like "Tarzan And Su" and "I'm Like Yeah, But She's All No", I'd seen very few nicely-executed AMVs for my favorite anime, Love Hina. And so I decided to try my hand at it. What's more, I took the less-traveled road of creating a more dramatic feel to it, rather than making it your commonplace Keitaro-gets-punched video. The few people I've showed it to seemed to like it.
I've hosted the video for "Love Hina - Screaming Infidelities" here, for those of you who want to check it out. I hope you enjoy it.
Some background information:
I apologize for the 54 MB size. As I mentioned in my link above, "It was a quality versus bandwidth issue, and my sympathies fell towards quality." I wanted a good first-try, but somewhat fell short of my expectations. At the time, I had limited sources (16 of the 30 episodes on DVD), and I couldn't even output the final draft on my low-powered computer. Even when I closed off all applications, including Explorer, Premiere would just keep dying on me when I tried to export the fixed version which took care of several pacing and crossfading issues. So I'm well aware of the occasional mistimed cut.
Enough of my excuses... Again, i hope you enjoyed the video.

Woo hoo! Downloading now.
Not to try and pimp, but from your description (and reading over some comments on that page of yours), you've definitely got the same musical interests as a few of us. Check out some video by <A HREF="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... >myself and Meri. You seem to already know at least one video by someone in More Than Toast, but check out their other stuff, too :D

I definitely agree. I very clearly "got" the video. I have absolutely no interest in Love Hina, and I dread watching LH videos... but I really, really liked this one.
I'm sure it helped that I'm a Dashboard fan and know the song pretty well, but regardless, the lyric synching (other than possibly some of the "hair" stuff near the end) was never over-the-top literal, which was awesome. Like I said, I just "got" the video... it clicked really nicely.
VERY nicely done, especially if for a first video...

Thank you all for the kind words and welcomes. I really appreciated the comments, especially AD's, whose tutorials, along with ermac's, I used a lot of.
Though I do plan on working on more AMVs eventually, I'm on the losing end of time management at the moment. For now, I'm clinging on to this one product as my baby. So, I was glad to see a couple of you liked it.
Looking through more profiles on here, I'm amazed at all the videos I've missed. I'll definitely have to catch up when my 2 week restriction thing runs out. Come to think of it, I should put my own video up here. You guys have killed my bandwidth limit.
I'm glad you all liked my different spin on the Love Hina storyline.
