Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

TLO Presents: Right Now It's Tricky To Be Shameless!

Post by dokool » Fri Nov 21, 2003 12:49 am

The judges at AUSA have already seen it, the audience at AUSA sees it in about 20 hours, but you get to see it.... right now. Some would say that it's tricky to keep a good video like this hidden from the population for so long, but at the risk of being shameless, I'd say it was worth the wait.

Right Now It's Tricky To Be Shameless

Enjoy!

p.s. This new release coincides with the release of MY NEW WEBSITE. Yes, no longer do you see strange splash pages or, worse, nothing at all. ThirdLensOpen.com is now up and running.

I thought it was really good. The only thing that got to me was how much the speech and thought bubbles moved around. Very distracting and not necessary.

I couldn't think of a way to keep the speech bubbles still and have it look good =/

Learning experience, though. Next time I work with speech bubbles (won't be for a while, but you never know), their quality and positioning will improve...

glad you liked the vid =)

I'm not accusing =P I just think it is wierd that an idea relatively the same is released just over a month apart. I mean, you both had to of been working on your own vids at the same time at one point since you had the AnimeUSA deadline last month. =P just interesting

Yeah, I also think the speech bubbles were sometimes not on the screen long enough to be read but nonetheless, I loved it  Very clever video!
