Er, I'm not too sure why I downloaded this AMV after seeing which song was used. Generally, if I dislike the music, I'll despise the vid. But since I know how painful it is to make an AMV, yet receive no feedback, I'll give you my opinion.

First of all, the concept seemed solid enough. You chose scenes that kept with the feel of the music, somewhat, so no problems there. In fact, the only scenes that I truly hated were the ones where Yuna was singing. Lip syncing is possible with anime because it is easy to Photoshop and speaking characters usually don't move around much, so swapping frames is unnoticeable. With game footage, though, it seems near impossible. Since neither frame manipulation nor Photoshopping would work very well, short clips would have to be used or else the lips would not match the words for very long.

And if the lips do not match, what is the point of trying to lip sync?

However, you did try to use scenes where Yuna's actions might have been Mariah's while singing. Overall, I see what you were trying to do and you did the best you could. Sometimes, though, things just don't work out.

On the technical side, the video quality was poor. But if you don't have the money for equipment, well, you don't have the money. The subtitles, on the other hand, you can do something about. You have nothing to lose by cropping the bottom of your AMV. By doing that, your AMV would gain a much more professional feeling and would not have suffered from the resulting letterbox effect. I cannot stress this point enough. Nevermind all of the other aspects of AMV creation, tackle this problem first. Start with this guide and go from there.

Aside from that, just keep making AMVs. The only way to really improve is to watch your own and other's vids over and over again, then take the parts you like while avoiding the parts you don't. Practice makes perfect (though I should follow my own advice...).
