Another newbie, another Naruto vid: 'Uchiha Brothers:Broken'

Another day, another newbie...with yet another begging plea for opinions. =P

This vid focuses on...well, the Uchiha brothers, Sasuke and Itachi. Has the most recent Naruto footage (IE: SPOILERS), of eppies 84 and 85. The quality is a bit bad...as it is from a fansub...and the subtitles are still there. Ah well.

First vid, which means ickle newbie pleading for tips on what she did wrong and what she did well...pleease?

if i recall correctly, isn't it forbidden to put up videos made with fansubs?
i think it is, but if they were to really enforce that rule they have to remove about half the videos on the forum (which isn't bad because most of the vids made with fansubs downright suck).

Well, i have to say, it's not that bad, not that good eighter.
I hate WMVs with a passion, because mostly of the terrible quality.
The subtitles are annoying, and the song doesn't really fit. If the song did fit Sasuke would have wanted to be killed by Itachi, but since that isn't the case, well, you get my point. But it's a nice song. And next time, work with a real editing program, and get the DVDs, that makes a whole lot of difference.

And if for some reason ur too lazy or don't have the money for dvds, at least learn how to crop subtitles. Just like undertow says, they're annoying.

haven't watched the vid yet but can't blame him for dl the episodes.

You only need to hit submit once.

And it's easy to remove subs... ineffectively and effectively. However, WMM isn't exactly the right program for that business.

And if you want to make a Naruto AMV, fansubs are the only alternative most of the time- as the Hong Kong (bootleg) dvd's only rip from the R2 official Naruto dvds up to episode 40... And there aren't any R2 dvd's out yet for the more recent episodes in the first place.

I was wondering about the fansub thing--so far I haven't found anything that strictly forbids them....but it wouldn't really be logical since a bunch of anime is only available in fansubs.

What program can crop the vids?

u'll have to point that rule out to me as well. i don't remember reading that.

also how do you crop the subtitles anyway? prolly a newbie question but most people also would like to know this as well. i know how annoying subtitles can be as well cuz i hate seeing them too but as a noob, i can't help but leave them on since i don't know how.
