'ello everyone. Here is my AMV for Otakon 2004 "Staring down the barrel. It won Best "Themed" Video and 2nd place in Drama/Serious

I'm decently proud of this video, and apparently some good percentage of the people @ otakon liked it, so, meh. Give it a look-see and tell meh what you think.

That was a really good video. You had a lot of emotional feelings provoked by me after watching it. I would have did a little cropping at the top and bottom cause you can see a little bit where the footage jumps. That's nothing major though. I will keep this video for sire. Congrats.

The video doesn't seem to be playing properly for me. It freezes in some places and then the timing is off for the last half of the video. What codecs did you use? Is anyone else having this problem?

Yeah, actually, a few people have had this problem...I should prolly start distributing in MPEG format...

I used an XviD encode, so the latest version of DivX should just about do it, you can get it at www.divx.com

Nope, that didn't do it. I think the encode is screwed up in some way.

exactly where did you get that statistic? What is the link for the standings for all the Otakon vids?

There isn't one yet. Geoff/Superios still hasn't made the official announcement with all the statistics, and he told me at the con that it wouldn't be up until 2 or 3 weeks afterwards.

However, many of the 2nd and 3rd place videos are known.
