• Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
 • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
 • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
 • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

My first AMV. Please watch.

Post by Young Kemosobe » Sat Sep 11, 2004 10:07 am

I have just made my first AMV and want some more people to know it is out there to view. It is called "We need our hero, Goku" with the song "Holding out for a Hero". Since this is my first vid, can most people who watch it give me some feed back and some help to make it better, thanks.

Can someone tell me how to put up the link to my vid so you can just click it and go from here. Thanks. :D

Actually I thought it was pretty good for a first. You've got the rythm in you. I've seen a LOT of DB music videoes, and it's quite good, and what makes it better, is that it's a first.

What Could Be Improved : The Quality? Think you can come up with better quality videos? On working on that myself, it seems to be something a lot of people ask for, so watch your step on that. Quality and Visuals are VERY important.

The rest is great, keep workin on it, I'm sure you'll be all over the org in no time

I think it is pretty good for your first vid. I left an opinion for you. Just wanted to let you know I liked it, and hope to see more vids from you. :D

This is the first dbz vid I've ever downloaded, so it was quite a change of pace for me. Nice nice nice job on editing for first time! Timing was pretty good too. Keep it up : )

Whoever said that my video quality isnt great because I used Windows Media Maker, think it was in an opinion, was right. I dont have anything else and couldn't find anything I could download for free. If anyone has a link to get Premiere or Vegas for free, please let me have it. Thanks.

P.S. I'll be putting my next video up today so look for it if I don't manage to get the link up. It will be called "We are in love..." with the song "Accidentally in Love". Hope you all enjoy this one as much as you did my last, even though it does have about the same video quality as my last.

Nothing wrong with WMM; however, check out my guide to preparing footage for WMM2, and EADBAG's page on exporting from WMM2; that should help with the quality.

You can get demos from their websites, but you aren't allowed to ask for illegal copies.

My new video is up. Please enjoy.

And can someone tell me specifically how to get my link up, cause it seems after you hit the URL tab you have to type the URL in. How do you know what to type. Please help me out.
