The Prescott Affair - 10 - 01
The Prescott Affair
Footage: Neon Genesis Evangelion
Music: Original Trailer Audio
Category: Trailer
December 10th?
Alot of you are no doubt wondering (if you have seen the banner) why the video is being released on this day instead of the date on the banner. Well. We just felt like having some fun : P.
10 - 01
What is this?
It's an Original trailer. By original we mean, that we actually took the time to audition actress and actors to play the part of a selected character in the Trailer.
This script was written by myself, and several of the voices where played by myself. Not to mention the actual editing.
But for the more technical stuff (video clean up, audio cleaning, etc). I had an asso-director and a good friend Scintilla helping me out this time (pulling MUCH more than his fair share). Along with the other actors and actress.
A note about why this was done
Theres a note of subtle notions about time (and world events) in this video. See the thing is suppose to be 2 years AFTER the events that happened in the beginning. Now heres where it turns towards me playing with time. I noticed something earlier this year that just made me do this towards the end of the year.
Yui (Ryan - Shinjis, Mother) died in 2004 in the anime.
The Gravestone reads 1977-2004.
I felt this should be used to a great extent.
There's still time for a tragedy like this to happen, 2004 isn't over.
And with the way the worlds going... Who knows?
The Plot
Ryan Prescott was an ordinary teenager with a good life, a good family, and even a great girl... until a horrible accident claimed his mother's life and caused his father to grow cold and distant.
Not until two years later does Ryan finally discover the truth about his mother's death... and when he does, he's out for revenge, no matter whom he has to take down.
But with his target wielding so much power, Ryan's going to need a little help from his friends.
And with friends like his, revenge will be very sweet indeed.
Not to mention a whole lot of fun.
End
I hope you all enjoy this.
From all of us,
Thank you for watching.

hehe, that was cool. I liked it. The editing's flow was nicely done in some parts. The transistion from emotional to "fun" seemed quick to me though; first it was sappy like Punisher, next moment it's time to get even like Kill Bill (aside from the music; maybe it was the KB theme that tipped it towards "fun" too quickly, I dunno).
Sweet job.
Sweet job.

hmmm, I must say I liked it alot better than your precvious work.
The audio was a bit random at times, and felt like the video was a bit shaky, and the colors could have been better.
Some good AVS work could have fixed that.
but overall it was a neat little trailer and I could barely tell you did all the voice acting yourself......that is if you did.
