Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Good choice of song. However, your story coherency really suffers. Why? Multi-source. What was I watching? I didn't know. Also aspect ratios were sometimes off because of the multi-source.
I liked your editing synch. I also approved of using BAV, it doesn't get much appreciate and I've never understood why.
You were good, but you weren't great. Much of that reason was because I didn't care. I didn't care because you didn't make me care. You didn't make me care because you had no story coherency. Round and round we go.
Same effects, same editing synch, one anime, and I probably would have loved it.

Yes, it was. I really liked the opening for the TV series, so I decided to stick a couple of scenes from it in there. And that reminds me that I forgot to put the AMG TV in my anime list for the video... *goes and fixes*Kalium wrote:Was that a shot of Ah! My Goddess TV I saw in there, near the end?
Kionon: I wasn't really trying for a story in this video, more for just a theme. And there's no way I could've pulled the theme off with just one anime because I had to use so many scenes. I do agree that multi-source takes away from the story in a video, though, and I do normally like to see a story in a video. I'm thinking this is going to be my last multi-source vid for sure, just for that reason.
OMG, I completely forgot to change the Kenshin: Reflections aspect ratio. I'm just going to say it was silver_moon's fault because she was in charge of most of the encoding for this project.
