Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

1. Do not bump your topic. Especially 20 minutes after posting.
2. Do not say you entered every contest in 2006, even before the video premiered.
3. Do not upload videos with uncompressed audio.
4. Do not upload 2.5 minute videos that are 510MB. (DV format)
(I don't know who approved this large upload)

Please read the guides on how to compress video and audio.

Oops. It's my first video. Thought it seemed on the wrong side of thick. Reduce the size you say? I'll give it a go.

Also, the huge Adobe watermark is a bit distracting...

Wow! I didn't even get down to the bottom to notice the file size. I was immediately turned off to it the minute I saw every 2006 amv contest on the planet listed. Yeah, as soon as I saw "ANIME OASIS V HENTAI AMV CONTEST" in the list, I stopped scrolling and left since there is no way a Karas action vid would get entered in that unless the person was really good at doing their own animation. Which I seriously doubted was the case. I just went back to see about this large file size and almost shit myself. Yeah dude, you got some fixing to do before a lot of people would even consider watching it.

Cool. Cheers guys. I listed those contests by accident, don't really know what I was thinking at the time; obviously I didn't mean to do that. I created it using the 30 day free trial of adobe which is, I presume, why the watermark is there. It makes it feel a bit like watching a vid on MTV2 which is quite cool. I'll get onto the filesize. You should check it out at some point if you haven't already. I still think it's a pretty sic VID.

The video is ok. But the watermark HAS TO GO! MTV and cool my ass . And yeah DV is not a format to release in or even use for AMVs in my opinion. Huge file size with some quality issues. Mainly some jittery footage and pixelated reds.

This video might not be so bad if it weren't for the file size, technical issues, absurd contest entries, and thread pimping.

You've got work to do ^_^!
