  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.

not bad at all. at first reading the info on the video that it was gonna be a odd combination of music and anime, but it turned out really good. its funny when i was making my AMV the first verison of it was using that same song.

My first amv also cam out today. if you can check it out and let me what you think.

This was... different. In a good way.

It took the usual gore and violence that we see in most Hellsing videos and turned it loose on a song you wouldn't really expect. I think you had a very good sense of timing, and you kept up with the pace pretty well. Most of the effects were decent, but I didn't really get the point of the one that had rectangles stacked up on each other. It just seemed a little too intrusive compared to the rest of the effects in the video.

The only major complaint is that I wish that you hadn't used .wmv. This actually looked really good for a .wmv, but it could be better if you compressed to XviD or even the newer h.264. But that's not my field of specialty, so you'd be better off reading up on that with the guides or around the forums.

To be honest, the only reason I downloaded this initially was because my friend is interested in the band, so I thought that this would be a good way to hear a song from them. However, I'm glad I caught your video. It's very well done, and a great submission to the site. It makes for a wonderful first impression. Nice work. ^_^
