Hi this is my first video that I have posted. I love this series and I spent weeks just trying to pick a song that represented Tohru's strength without being pretentious. I have no life so read a lot of fanfiction for this series and a common thread in many of the fanfictions I have read is that Tohru is a pushover, she can't stand up to anyone or say no. People forget that at 14 she lost her mom, her family didn't want her- except for her senile grandfather, and she went to live in a used tent, in the woods, during a bad storm, all the while maintaining a sunny outlook, school, and a part time job.

I hope that I can be as cheerful and gentle hearted as Tohru but her nature is so foreign to what I usually expect in a strong female. She has a soft heart with a steel spirit. She heals where Akito hurts. Thats what I wanted to show in the video and Her optomism is what ends the video with "and they all lived happily ever after. I hope fans of the series get it. I did my best.
