This song has been floating around my queue of songs to use since roughly 2001. A friend of mine introduced me to VAST with this song but specifically asked me not to use this song since he wanted to make an AMV with it on our old site together. Well, it's been (at least) five years since he asked me that and he still hasn't gotten around to making it, so I decided to take a crack at it.

To put it simply, the storyline of this video is of a man who loves this woman so much, he would sacrifice everything for her - even the safety of the world. The ending on this video is a bit misleading and might spoil the last few minutes of the story, but there is more to the ending than I would have you believe.

I started this back around the beginning of October, but relationship issues sprung up which caused me to continually delay this work until the Saturday before Thanksgiving '06. Luckily I finished it then, because the next day the relationship issues came to a head and are now completely null. The dedication was placed in before the fallout, but it's still true as it ever will be, which is why I'm leaving it in.
