- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.

Card Captor Sakura: Envy.
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... p?v=134693
Started and finished in two Saturdays (started one Saturday, left it that week, finished the next Saturday, left it for a couple more weeks or so, finally got around to encoding and uploading today). Meiling character profile, more or less.
It takes only a very short while before I remember why I hate editing in Magix MEP 2k4. Stupid filesize limitations.

Well, much like Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts, I'll download any Cardcaptor Sakura video I see. And hey... this was really cute! The timing was right on, and there was quite a bit of internal sync, too. The song is great for Meilin's character - a little less of the "I hate you, Sakura," attitude that she shows early on, and a little more of the "I like you, but geez, do you ever frustrate me" attitude she has later.
The only thing was the fuzzy edges on the characters, but it wasn't too bad unless you were really paying attention.
Nice work on this one! I enjoyed it a lot. ^_^

I wouldn't have downloaded this but I saw Meilin mentioned and had to grab it.

I refuse to incriminate myself. At least, not in writing.Kalium wrote:Oh, you have no idea.Kitsuner wrote:*fapfapfapfap* X|
Thanks for the comments, all.
Regarding lip-flap, I'm resigned to it being in there, since every attempt I make at removing it results in Lose and Fail.
I generally just copy-and-paste the post-production footage cleaning from the guides, since I tried experimenting, and I simply could not see any difference (at least without spending far too much time on a scene-by-scene comparison). I have the faintest glimmer of hope that someone, somewhere, will kindly provide avisynth scripts for all seventy episodes and two movies of CCS.
If it seems as though some scenes drag on for too long, that's because I got utterly sick and tired of Magix and its filesize restrictions. I'd much prefer to work with the software, not against it.
