You probably need two heads when looking at this AMV [YOKO]
title: YOKO ~ remaining deep in the ocean ~
More info about the AMV on the banner (I hope I have the kanji right!). Click on the banner to download it.
Wondering why the topic is called like that? Well... just check it out! I should've released this a few days ago, but I was hit by a stomach flu (still recovering), so I didn't have enough strength to do so.
Instructions for viewing this AMV:
1. download it here
2. watch it WITHOUT skipping anything (it takes less than 3 minutes, so not that long)
3. wonder and think about the AMV - especially that part, which I call the "36" and YES, it's done intentionally
4. done enough thinking? http://www.leiseus.net/yoko will provide the anwsers to your questions (which is a detailed breakdown that I always do with my AMVs)
Still don't like the "36"? I'll upload another version without the "36" if there's demand for it... (or maybe just one for Warheart and JCD if they're not convinced yet! )
For people on using a Mac, I heard an error might occur while watching this AMV
Oh yeah, winner of Abunaicon '06 - a local Dutch con

Nobody's replied here yet? What's wrong with you people?
Anyway, I'm on a Mac, but had no problem here. I'm really amazed by the ambition and effort you put into your AMV's, although both feel like they're missing a more climactic ending. I understand your trade is subtlety and hidden layers, but sometimes, some raw power will bring out the emotion a hundred metaphors never could.
We've really seen the AMV community expand it's musical references lately, and I'm loving the recent wave of softer vids coming out. You're one of the frontrunners, without a doubt

This reminds me a bit of the video clip to the goo goo dolls sliding doors, they keep moving around and missing each other.
it's a very soft amv.
the back just after the intro is intentional I'm guessing.
new banzors in the making :p

How did I miss this?
You know I liked it, simply beautifull. Funny enough, I didn't get the story till I read your piece on it, but I did get most of the styles (if that's the right word) used, like the "36", the dividing line and the use of movement and imagery. I just didn't connect it all to the same storyline, so the end left me kinda confuddled. But still, very nice indeed.
Ps
Je krijgt hopelijk later vandaag een reactie op je opinion en messages, sorry dat het zo lang duurt, keb alleen een drukke kerst gehad.

"Hello, Rabbit," he said, "is that you?"
"Let's pretend it's not," said Rabbit, "and see what happens."

Finally it was about damn time.
Dispite some bad reactions I got off con/board, on letting this get first price at Abunai. I really like this video. The main concern that people had was that "it was TOO" something they couldn't explain. I reply 'd "artistic for your taste?" and they just looked at me confused or gave me wierd smiley's.
Anyway I think I ran over some stuff with you after my panel or before I don't even remember. Things were hectic at the time. If not then I'll get into it in some moon speak later on.
