Azumanga Daioh // Yukari doesn't Care

Post by Rhinne » Sat Mar 24, 2007 2:50 pm

My 3rd AMV :D
I actually put some effort into this one
The video-quality (and size) went all wierd when I saved it, but it doesn't look too bad I guess.
Opinions are really appreciated (even if they're bad ^_^;; )

Ok. I guess I will look. Since you asked so nicely...

EDIT -----------

Wow. I was actually slightly impressed! Video quality needs work, but it wasn't hard to look at. Video sync was pretty good, but you were off at some parts. Lip flap was annoying and some of the lip sync was a tad off and could have used some frame by frame editing. You repeated some segments two times, and that bugged me, but not too badly.

Overall, this failed to meet my highest of expectations, but didn't fail and look like a noob video either

This AMV had a parts, where it looked nice. But sadly, only few.

The concept wasn't revolutionary, but was decent. Unfortunately after a while it get boring, since it wasn't anything really fun going on in this AMV to entertain for long. Also showing some of the scenes twice didn't help it either.

Lip sync varied from part to part. At some you manage to pull decent sync, but more often it was just flapping, missing the lyrics, or completely leaving them aside. Similar happened with editing sync. While at some parts sync was nicely done, at others it was plain lazy.

Lastly quality... Aww...It hurted my eyes... Plz go here, here and here if you have some problems with encoding. Most problems are probably covered there already, but if you don't find one - make a topic and ask - bad quality is a killer for AMV

All in all - I can see some effort in here, but it's not enough to call it decent. It's defienietely better than all the "half of the episode with subs" crapmvs, but still it's worse than average decent vid.
