Tribute to Spike - Leave out all the Rest
Hello folks,
This is my second AMV which attempts to do a lyric sync with a slow-paced song. My previous AMV (not available here) focused primarily on action sync and while I believe it went well, it is hardly enough to label as good when so many others do the same. Here I tried to focus on the overall mood as to what Spike did and didn't fight for. This song seemed to go with it as Spike was trying to leave out all the rest for the present but ended up going back to his past. In doing so, the one he loved (Julia) died and he had no where else to go. I did my best to capture the feelings involved and the many things he went through.
I used iMovie to create this video but am planning to use a different editor such as Vegas on the Windows and Final Cut Express on the mac to see how it all works out. The part where Julia and Spike had a shoot-out is where some might not like because it doesn't seem to naturally flow. I was trying to remedy this problem but without avail. Any suggestions would be hugely appreciated! If not, I'll be attempting to play around with it and see what my results would be. I have two versions of this AMV, one being on youtube and this is my final one for now.

Never heard of the song or show but it sounds interesting. Even if I did, most people would probably do it better than me. Well, that is if they are up to the idea and know about the anime. I would get started on it if I were you though just to be safe.Autraya wrote:ya know for some reason i thought this was refering to spike from buffy and it was going to be that 'let me rest in peace' song from the musical episode. Hah me either but I don't know if it would be worth watching anyways. I tend to like watching anime than videos but there are course plenty of good movies out there. I never even heard of the songAutraya wrote:yar, i never would have guessed it wasn't anime ... i was talking about the music

Buffy the vampire slayer is a show, was over a while ago... Main actress is rather yummy, although towards the end got to skinny -_-.
And the musical episode is a good idea *stealz it*
