Where the Sidewalk Ends - Otakon Romance Winner
I haven't released anything in awhile (sorry?), but here's my entry from this year's Otakon contest:
You can read all the nitty gritty details in the actual video profile if interested, but in short, it's a fun/upbeat romance AMV and not entirely what most of you were probably expecting from me. This could be a good or bad thing...
I also imagine most of you aren't old school enough to know the original version of this song (or get the title of the video), but if you do, hopefully you'll enjoy it moreso.
As always, Otakon was a tough (and fun) contest and I was fortunate enough to squeak out another win in Romance .
I hope you enjoy it and please be forgiving as I haven't done this editing thing in awhile .
P.S. Oh yeah and sorry to all those expecting my ACen/AX entry, but I'm lazy. It's coming I swear...

Hmm... the title rang a bell the instant I saw it. Took me another minute or two to remember that that was the title of a poem (and an entire book, I think) by Shel Silverstein. I loved his writing when I was younger.
I'm downloading your video now and I'll get back to you later today with my thoughts. ^_~

Nice work, Daniel. It was cool seeing it on the big screen at Otakon, and congrats on the win! Hopefully this means we'll be seeing some more videos from you now on as well...>>

If you did use the original version, I would've given you three thumbs up, but you didn't, so you're gonna have to settle with two thumbs up. Nah, I'm just kidding.dwchang wrote: I also imagine most of you aren't old school enough to know the original version of this song (or get the title of the video), but if you do, hopefully you'll enjoy it moreso.
But yeah, this video totally rocks, dude. I didn't really think Oh My Goddess could fit with the song like that so well(but then again, I've only seen the Ah My Goddess movie)
