  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I have a strange thing for commenting first vids..

/gets

EDIT: Auch, I didn't really like this.. However, your video had it's moments, since the clip-selection was interesting enough to keep the viewer's attention, even though it was random. For the majority of time the song and what was going on in the video was disconnected though, apart from a few interesting mood syncing sequences and those comedy bits :D

Anyways, for a 6-minute video your editing wasn't progressive enough to keep it complete, and there's always a lot you can do with making your sync look better.. It was a very average first vid. I've seen better first vids.. Dunno what rating to give you.. 2/5?.. Keep on editing! =)

And I suggest reading the tech guides on this site. Your video quality can be much, much better, and you don't have to pay for any expensive programs~ ;)

Hey thanks for the reply. I have took your advice and started reading up on a guide. Holy crap there was a bunch I didn't know! I already have an idea for my next AMV (Not sure if it is a sound concept yet or not) and hopefully the guide I am reading will help me out with quality and such. Also I appreciate you not pulling any punches. At first I wasn't sure what you meant by disconnected from the video, but after re-watching it I think I know what you mean. Hopefully I can improve on that.
