Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Please critique my Air Gear AMV!

Post by Crucifixjel » Thu Sep 20, 2007 7:30 pm

Please critique my Air Gear AMV...by leaving opinions on the AMV and not on this thread...

Title: Littlerazorblade
Song: Littlerazorblade by "the Pink Spiders"
Anime: Air Gear
Hardware: PC
Software: WinAVI Converter and Premiere Pro 2.0
Format: WMV

This was my first lip-syncing AMV, my 3rd AMV created since last year of November. And I heard from a lot of people saying that the song match with the anime and plus the song was very catchy...so please critique...

Just out of curiosity, if you didn't edit it with Windows Movie Maker, why did you decide to encode it as a .WMV?

I'd try .avi or mp4 or even mpeg but my computer just doesn't like encoding things in any of those formats without messing up the quality...I blame my computer...can't wait to get another one...

But please critique....thanks...

.. not to shabby ^__^ .. your not new to editing in way/shape/form!!! . . ? a Jr High Band ?

.. in the Middle of it, there was a Riff' and the girls were just looks ( at nothing ) -- bad form!

.. Adding the words to the screen during a passage -- unnecessary video clutter!

The Song worked quite well with the Video. I see nothing wrong with just two errors in Judgement!

.. keep it up 8-) 4/5 overall - well done ^_^

If you're looking for ops specifically, I suggest checking out the Opinion Exchange board; that's what it's for.
