The Duck the prince and the raven, a fairytale

Post by Bakadeshi » Thu Nov 22, 2007 10:41 pm

My long time in coming AWA Pro vid, I've been putting this off awhile to release since I wanted to fix up some stuff I couldn't find what I did with the project files for a while.

This was finalist in 3 categories in the pro contest, and while it did not win in any of the official categories, Vlad gave it his Vat guest award for best story telling endevour, so thanks for that Vlad

If you've seen the awa pro version, this one has tighter timing, and improved the text design and effect to be more readable and more in the style I wanted it.

Read video description for info on the actual amv, but here it is:

I really liked the style ^^
It was cool to look at, but not something I think I'll watch too often. It's a bit too slow and uhhh straightforward to see over and over again. But pretty nonetheless.

And I'll uh, pm you some things >_>

You misspelled "acknowledged" in that video! :o

As for the video itself, very fitting concept there (it almost threw me off the loop that you used Ayumi Hamazaki). Now let's see if I can play this on a more powerful computer since it started to lag on mine.

gah

I somehow mixed up something with those typos, Kalium pointed them out to me and I had fixed them before, but that was a while ago, I mustve mixed up something between then and now. I'll fix em and request a reupload after I release ayumix tomorow.

Nice video. Very story book-ish.

The alternate audio track with vocals and the lyrics are a nice bonus.
Having trouble playing back videos? I recommend: Image

AWWWWWWWW ... That was ... not all to good actually. I thought it got boring after a minute since the visual style didn't change at all and the music wasn't my cup of tea. Better luck next time.

Now this was something interesting. The video has a very stylish look and feels kinda alternative, maybe because of the visual style, i dig that. The sync and flow fit great with the song, and the storytelling was very clear. Can't watch it too often tho, because of the whole text thing. Btw when I have the time to encode it, I will be releasing a similar style text video I've been delaying a long time. :P
