Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Pretty kewl. You've told me the song is suppose to sound like that, Microphone being dropped in the background and some slight noises to make it somewhat of a awkward/calm mood. The red tone was pretty ok, The effects werent too heavy so you can still enjoy the footage. Over all yea 3.5/4 outta 5 Probably leave a QC or a OP later if I'm up to it. Keep up the good work, Its short, simple and sweet.

Positives:
Really powerful creepy atmosphere. I felt like you tackled the song pretty successfully though-out most of it and your editing was very clean and polished for the most part, with the exception of a few strange effects towards the end. Interesting song choice and video and I liked the fact that you gave a black and white source a little bit of color. Appropriate length for this type of video as well.
Negatives:
Couldn't help but feel like this didn't actually get anywhere or have a point. While your editing was smooth, the song didn't really have anything to say and neither did this video. Scene selection didn't really seem all that significant either because you didn't have much to go on from the song. The red color started to feel almost a little bit old towards the end and didn't really feel like it was selected for a certain purpose. Point being you could have edited this video in a different color and you would have had just about the same result. Felt a bit slapped on by the end of the video but did help the eerie mood slightly. Still think more could have been done with it color wise.
Suggestions:
In the future maybe attempt to put more emphasis on the scenes you select. It seems like you want to make a powerful video that has an impact on the viewer, however in order to do that it needs to be something the viewer can actually follow in order for you to play with their emotions and achieve the desired result. This can be done through maybe selecting a deeper song than this, varying your video, and maybe tweaking your editing style in a way that it places more significance on the scenes you use. This was good but often times it felt like you were just slapping a random "creepy" clip on the timeline and moving right along to the next one without allowing the viewer to fully absorb what they were seeing.
I'd definitely call this one worth checking out as it IS interesting to watch, but I'd give it around a 3/5 for its low replay value and reasons listed above.
Still a nice vid
Titles also help the message of your video and clarify what your theme may be. Try putting some thought into them and coming up with something creative instead of "Untitled".

Brand New AMV? Fucking WHAT?

EDIT: I love videos like this (hell, I've made two or three of them myself), and you did a really good job setting a mood. However, calling this "horror" is a bit far-fetched to me...it was sad, depressing, but there was nothing really horror-ish about it.
Also, I agree with pretty much every single point Reda noted. I couldn't tell what you were trying to say with this, what the actual concept was, and as a result it did feel more than a little pointless. The effects were really nice, though, and that's the one thing I don't really agree with Reda on. I liked the effects and color manipulation a lot, and to me it didn't really get old.
That said, I still really dug the general feeling the video generated, and I was able to get into it. Sync and flow and everything was handled really well.
And as a final note, for the love of God start naming your videos. "Untitled" is such a dumb name for a video that's creative like this one is.
3.5/5, rounded up to 4.
