LINK FINALLY SPEAKS!!!!
This was a very strange concept indeed. I was having a discussion with a friend about how Link from the Legend of Zelda series, never speaks. He always just nods, or gives a "HAAAA!", "YAAAH!" or other type of grunt or yell. Then I got to thinking....wouldn't it be an epic event the day Link finally does speak?
"That would make a great AMV one day" I thought...."I just don't know what to pair it with..."
So I was surfing around watching movie trailers, because I wanted to do another trailer AMV, I came across the trailer for "King Arthur" (2004). The trailer made the movie seem so epic and exciting, even though it was not a very good film in most people's eyes. I wanted to use it... I just didn't know what anime to pair with it, to be clever... Then I remembered, Link talking for the first time would be an epic event...this trailer was very epic...hmmm....
Thus the concept was born
Hope you all enjoy!

the day Link speaks will be the day Kirby stops being so damn cute :/. Which in consecuence will be the day Captain Falcon stops showing his moves, Peach and Zelda stop being kidnapped and every other game series cliche stops happening in general.
Other than that, LoZ: TP?
/gets
EDIT: hehehehe that was pretty sweet. I pretty much liked the conection of the footage and the sounds. The close ups kinda made me laugh and kinda anoyed me when I saw them after the first time, the rest was fine . I enjoyed it!

yeah, The only time Link was speaking was when either his back was turned toward us, or there was a close up on his eyes. It was meant as an annoyance/joke. Because it would go like this: " AWW MAN! I thought I was going to SEE Link speak!" Kind of like they'd have to wait until the "movie" to see it. Thanks to everyone so far for the feedback.

The way you said that Link always goes "YAAAAAHHHH" reminds me of that Soulja Boy song 'Tell Em', where he goes "Yaaahhh trick yahhh"... anyways....
Liked the video... Link taking the sword from the stone was a great connection between the two.
The only things I could point out are rather small... I really liked the subtitles with the triforce background, but I thought the style of font where you introduce the characters didn't fit, or looked kind of plain... it was tinted indigo? It didn't look movie quality to me. (you know, the "Link as Arthur" etc.)
And I think a slow zoom would have worked better when you zoomed into the face. ^^;;;;;;;;
Anyways, I enjoyed this - thanks! ^^

oh, if your objective with the close ups and such was getting that reaction from the viewer, then know that I had that reaction (well, similar to that )thundercatlord wrote:hehe
