Fresh and New: Afrikaans Accent Institute
Hey guys
Well, this is here to formally announce my latest AMV on the org.
Afrikaans Accent Institute
It's a fun comical parody with lots of humour which makes "FUN OF" the way both English
and Afrikaans people can use or mispronounce words when used in everyday speech.
This focuses on how one can Speak English with an Afrikaans Accent, much like "ENGLISH FOR DUMMIES".
After having problems uploading the file several times with a slow internet connection for hours on end, I finally
won the battle and the video is officially uploaded.
*I had my first 5 hits while my video hasn't yet been uploaded* *sniff*
Let bygones be bygones
With that said
Have a LEKKER time and ENJOY the video to the FULLEST!

Sorry about that... The reason it's 47mb is because I encoded it in High Definition with a resolution of 1280x1024. The lower quality video I encoded at 640x512 is only 18mb for the same length video.guy07 wrote:Absolutely HILARIOUS. I learned so much from this video. I think it may even be a candidate for best comedy next year. But the file TOO BIG for that length of video (like 30 mbs would have been fine.). My laptop is having trouble handling it, lol.
8/10, great stuff!
So, ultimately, it's just a tradeoff between video quality and filesize. I opted to upload a high quality version of the video regardless of the filesize.

Did you write and or narrate that?
If so excellent job, I found myself giggling every so often.
The lipsynch could have used a bit more work, it was a bit off, and sometimes the expressions of the characters lipsynching did not match the tone of voice.
but overall it was nice.
In conclusion,
jou ma se poes.
