I hardly watch any amvs lately and even less check out the announcement thread :<. But now I got around to take a look at something and here I am.

So as you are aware yourself the quality is bad. You should avoid it cause of todays standards. Also I noticed TV Tokyo symbol :] - You should crop it in the future logos if You use tv ripped footage.

After reading the discription I was kinda interested since I saw few first episodes of this anime (shame those eps didnt get me to see more). To the moment I watched series, so far I didnt saw any villian - no, honestly, besides those madlevel vampires. You wrote You tried to show Zero in bad light but for me it didnt do. I thought that rather thanks to Zero, Yuuki wasnt afraid of Kaname later on - thats how I saw it. Also I didnt felt much while watching it, there wasnt any mood for me. Maybe its cause of the song? I would like something darker or creeper with this anime :D. Imasickperson.

Now the the technical side :d.
Beat syncs have good timing but in the songs climax moments none had any impact on me ( points at 2:37 ) - its just too, dunno... standard? Just doenst look cool like it should . The black outs and black ins on beats were a good idea but the quick scene changes when drums speed up like 1:39 were crap. Sometimes it felt like some scenens last too long. Tho the selection of scenes in order to tell a story is quite good.

Now about the effects. I didnt liked the one at 2:49 - croping out scene - and 1:06 - eyes opening (but what are those two lines on left and right sides?). You shouldnt add/do effects that dont really bring much to the video or simply dont look good. The white borders that are supposed to show scenes from past for example have use and look neat.

I noticed some masks You did to cover lipflaps because of the difference in colors with video. Thats not good :P. But still better than leaving mouth yapping.

Over all I didnt liked it but I didnt hate it either. I would give this video 2/6 but it could easly become at least solid average but again its just my opinion. I think You got too lazy and should try harder :< but I see potential. Good job there and I hope Your next amv will be better.

As for the laziness thing at the end...yea I guess I kinda did get lazy XDD I wasn't very motivated when editing some parts for w/e reason so they didn't turn at that good..xD
