This is my latest AMV that I made.
Most of the time was spent ripping dvds. If you have any idea on how to deinterlace PAL dvds then please tell me. (Don't not download the video because of the interlacing. it doesn't really ruin it)
If you don't like it then please tell me and include the things you thought were the most wrong with it.
I actually don't expect many people to say it's the best amv they've ever seen.
even still
I Hope you like it!

- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Re: My latest AMV
As far as the technical issues, I'd really suggest settling them out before releasing the video. Better if you'd asked this first on the video forums.
The video itself is not bad, actually some of the action editing I enjoyed - but the character/drama parts didn't work I thought, they were both unfocused and really static (and that sort of stuck out all the more painfully next to the rather fast action). It didn't work as drama because the only structure to it was lyric sync - dramatic and action scenes may work here if taken on their own, but other than a lot of people being emo[tional] and then mecha exploding, there's not much to take away from this video. On the other hand, you can certainly pull off some good action editing moments when you try. But it's not just an action video, and on all other levels it really doesn't work too well. Could use a bit more structure and could definitely use some sort of editing trick to prevent the non-action scenes from looking so darn static and uninteresting.

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Re: My latest AMV
hmmm i like gundam so ill check it out, btw what's the chosen future ova? is it one of the compilation movies they did or new footage?
*edit* hummm ok overall the editing needs some work, tighter sync and some transitions added, scene choice was very sparodic too jumping all around without anything cohesive holding tit together other than every chorus switching to a dynamic shot of a sat.
X2 on the slow scene comment above it messes with the flow/pacing of the video, try matching the speed of what is happening in a scene to the scenes around it and the music it help avoid that problem.
also why is it 16:9 ? gundam seed is 4:3 and did you do any cleaning? the visual quality looks ok i just remember having trouble cleaning GS&D when i was editing to it.
