- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.

New from Aquiline: Love Love *SNAP* (Best Upbeat Otakon 2009
Some of you may remember that, four years ago, I made a video that kind of served as an advertisement of sorts for a four-episode OAV series that wasn't too popular.
The following video is NOT like that: this time, the obscure four-episode OAV is actually worth buying.
Title: Love Love *SNAP*
Anime: Magical Witch Punie-chan (Dai Mahou Touge)
Artist: Riyu Kosaka (from the DDR Extreme soundtrack)
Song: Love ♥ Shine
This video was entered in the Upbeat categories at AnimeNEXT and Otakon, taking second and first place in the two contests respectively.
Magical Witch Punie-chan, a.k.a. Dai Mahou Touge (ANN - Wikipedia) is not your typical magical girl anime -- but from the director of Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan, you wouldn't expect one. As much time of my life as it may have led me to waste (I believe Randall explored this phenomenon in a recent comic), I have to thank TV Tropes for alerting me to the existence of this delightful little series.
... Oh, hell, just read the video info. I'd just be repeating myself to say any more. Enjoy!

I am sure I've played this song on DDR before >_>
Anyway, that was really cool. Took me a bit to really get into it, but once I was I really enjoyed it. Nice, clean cut editing, just what the doctor ordered

Wait, didn't you release this like... a month ago?
Anyway, I thought it was a pretty cute video. It was a little darker than I was expecting though, since the only experience I'd had with Dai Mahou Touge was the vegetable summoning scene.

Did you just link to everything EXCEPT the actual video in an announcement thread? Noob. Anyway, it's nice to see an upbeat video that was actually somewhat upbeat instead of an AE effects demotape.

Making us have to work to view the video eh?
Awesome series, nice to see some work being done with it.

Dammit, this is what happens when I try to post at past 1:30 in the morning after two very long convention days. First post edited to add links. Sorry about that guys.

That was perfect. Could have used white instead of black, but that's a really minor thing. 5/5 from me, nice to see a simply-edited yet well done upbeat video.
