I've been lurking around these here forums for more than a year now, criticising the creations of pretty much every AMV maker on the org without ever making anything myself. So, I decided it's high time to get a taste of my own medicine. This is the effect - my first ever full AMV. Let the flaming begin.

If I could relay anything to you as to advice... It would be to work on flow a bit more, your editing felt a bit sporadic with sync and scenes.

Anyway, the video... It was really enjoyable, a few rough cuts here and there but it didn't really bother me. Nothing extremely impressing but yeah...

Yeah, you're not the first person to tell me that. I was short on footage so that's probably one of the reasons this AMV is lacking in this department. I'll do better next time. Probably.

I tried to make the story as clear as possible, so that's one thing I didn't completely screw up And those colors effects were like that in the anime have totally been made by me

I fell in love with it the first time I heard it. Try listening to some of his other works - you won't be disappointed.

As all said before, story is pretty well told
Amv becomes more interesting as the pace of the song is growing
For a first amv it's rly good stuff!

I agree with most of the comments here, this is nothing mindblowing or anything but it's quite enjoyable to watch. The story was obvious even though I hadn't watched the anime, the flow was commendable for a first video and I liked your build-up a lot, it actually got quite intense towards the end.

A very good first overall.
