Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
 • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
 • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
 • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
 • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

It's your lucky day. You have been selected by #amv-review as our bonus video. Expect replies and possibly ops. But be careful what you wish for...

okay there are alot of problems with this video.
if you
Read ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides Lovingly Overhauled Largely by Zarxrax

then most of these problems will go away I think.

The whole thing is a tough read but if you really want to clean up the footage and make your AMVs like 1000000 times better it's definitely worth the read through.

Here are some of the things I didn't like.

The use of the Mondarian Stock transition. It looks ugly, it isn't creative and it is so incredibly obvious that and flow get's disrupted.
It;s like 1000 squares are punching me in the eyes saying HEY GRINGO LOOK AT ME.

The use of downloaded Subtitled footage.
The Subbers usually clean up the footage for you but sometimes they filter it way too much, I think that's what happened here. The subtitles remain in the video, look dumb, and distract from the editing. I really don't need flashy melting words telling me the name of Luffy's punch while I'm watching a music video.

MEGAUPLOAD
Why didn't you upload it here? You could have. (also Mega upload is an indirect link, not a direct link)

With all of this said
THE VIDEO IS NOT WITHOUT MERITS
As a matter of fact there were large sections of the video where you used simple hardcuts and fades to keep the action going and the video flowing. I thought that these were done quite well

I recognize that this is a simple action video, it doesn't require a story, and you use simple cuts to illustrate the action already in the video. I like all of this.

In conclusion, I think you will make a pretty sweet video once you get yourself some non downloaded footage, stop using the stock transitions, and most importantly take the time to read through the guide I linked.

Thanks and Good Job I hope to see you improve even further!
