Re: Next Yesterday
The beginning was VERY different from the rest if the AMV. Is that really the beginning of the song? It just seemed too different in comparison to the meat and potatoes of the AMV.
Anyways, I enjoyed this.

Ugh, that was really good. Enjoyed it very much. I'm such a sucker for Clannad, but I loved what you did with the purple-tinted clips. Added a really nice effect. Good sync too. All in all, some hot stuff.

Re: Next Yesterday
This was very different, very well done.
Only thing that bugged me - the word "one" in the beginning was badly synced ;x

Re: Next Yesterday
As stated in the description, that was the idea. I used two audio tracks and mix them at one point. That's mainly because I changed my mind about some things on the way, so I decided to go for both tracks. My personal opinion about this is that the mix fits pretty well, and gives an impulse from the start - it's also an introduction for the rest of the AMV.EkaCoralian wrote:The beginning was VERY different from the rest if the AMV. Yes, I did notice a problem in the sync a few days ago, before the project was completed. This thing bothered me almost a full day, because the lip-sync and sync in the timeline is more then perfect. Also, If you listen to that segment alone the synchronization seems to be just fine. My theory would be that because of variation in image and repeated synchronization of other sounds, that segment seems off and desynchronized - but this is just a guess.Nya-chan Production wrote:This was very different, very well done.

Re: Next Yesterday
This AMV is so calming. You did a really good job a portraying emotion and you edited this very well.

Re: Next Yesterday
First 40 seconds felt really... "meh", in my opinion.
The video could really have done without it, or used a different song for that section.
But the rest and overall 00:41 - the end, was splendid. One of the best pieces I've seen so far this year.
Really nice sequence build-up, and well placed cuts.
You made the idea of the whole video real clear through out the whole little story, and brought on a really nice mood.
I also liked how you used the blue-gray sepia scenes, to both show flash-backs, and I also liked how you mixed them in with possible
thoughts of the character(s).
Anyway,
nice work! Really loved the plot and concept of both lineup and editing.
Might probably re-cut this and cut off the start myself lol.

Re: Next Yesterday
i actually liked the whole thing, been reading here that some ppl disliked the beginning a bit, but i found it intriguing. I think, because the beginning is so different, it really hits you when the beatiful melody kicks in and it touches you more ( well it touched me more ^^).
I totally see why you did it that way, and not cut that part of the song out, and the way u handled it was splendid as well =)
As far as your editing goes you got some good feeling to it, can't wait to see your next video ^^
