Anyway yeah, I liked this anime but I really didn't like the last few episodes. It was weird to me.

Why does Taiga call Minori 'Minorin' while Ami calls her Minori?

Minorin signifies a close relationship/friendship (they know each other for a long time). Minori is just usual name.

For further reference see Azumanga Daioh, dialogue Kaorin/Kimurin.

so... i just finished the last 19 episodes in two days, such a good anime... i'm almost willing to say it was better than Clannad

Better than first series, indeed, I'd say on par with the second ones. The problem is that they are pretty different in their theming, ToraDora being more light-hearted, which will always make her more easily acceptable.

So, who here's seen the first ep yet? I only just got around to watching it, but it was actually far better than I had expected, given the fact that I really didn't like their redesign of Taiga.

Taiga seems to be just another tsundere clone, acting like a combination of both Shana and Louise, but hopefully they can shake off that image throughout the duration of the show, because when I read the light novel and manga I really didn't see too many similarities between them.

Anyway, solid VAs, nice animation and a overall likeable cast, unless anything shockingly bad happens, I'll probably continue following this show.

Your thoughts?
