The fff. >: I'm surprised I didn't leave a final comment in here on the ending from me. D:
Eh, I'll just copy one I made on a separate forum. xD
I, for one, cannot WAIT for a hopeful second season of the show. This is mainly because of Dr. Minami. I know a lot of people who hated the guy, but I couldn't quite comprehend their hate for him. I mean I can easily understand the dislike for the guy because he's a villain who wants to take down Heroman with all of his being, but my God, he was my favorite villain in the entire series! (Kogorr's second form later in the series comes in at a close second.)
I thought that Heroman was quite good. I don't see it as heavily shonen or shoujo, but a nice relaxing mixture of both. Its not something I'd watch for an overdose of my shonen fix, but it was nice to watch something that balanced both genres quite well in comparison to other anime nowadays.
The show had very little weakpoints from my view (I thought some concepts/creations were sort of lame... giant metallic-looking destructive spheres, the island Skrugg monster, Skrugg
dogs of all things... xD) so that was good. =]
Good show, overall. 8/10 from me.

I think that the creator of the robots will find earth, threaten, then die by one super dynami-kick-ass punch to the gonads. But that's just a theory. I have no evidence to back it up. Oh, that and Risa will admit her love blah, blah, blah, blah, rainbows.
"Well, we got the Big Bad down for now, but there's still evil in the world." kind of ending + the couple not exactly clearly set up. A non-ending of sorts let's say. Also known as Rumiko Takahashi ending or... BONES ending, which is why I find it somewhat likely.
I also agree with mirkosp's ending: it just seems like that sort of anime that would receive that ending to me as well.
I'm also having this annoying buzz at the back of my mind saying that it might end up like The Iron Giant. Joey's giant toy robot will probably either destroy itself, live somewhere else with a race that maybe created it, or it'll return to its toy robot form.
