Ah, vampire babes with Chainsaws...
I'll bite.
Initially, the show's first ep has the standardly 'cliched' dark setting involving vamps, werewolves, hot babes, etc. And in all regards, it is a setting done before countless times in other anime/manga: Hellsing, Vampire Humper D, etc. Trinity Blood...
What I think is interesting is in that of any of the 'serious' vamp anime, there aren't any vamp anime I know of where the main character is a Femme Normal Vampire [Karin was a crocky twist that made it quite humorous]
And then there's...
THE CHAINSAW! shown only in the intro.
Gives me Lancer gun feelings [Play Gears of War]

Just watched ep 1 and I like what I'm seeing so far.
The fight scene was pretty good and the quality is ok as well.

Hime and Riza are my favorites.
However the TV ANime is disappointing when compared to the Manga.
I have a feeling the OAD will get better, on the other hand.
