I lost it after all those imagine spots and he thinks "I liked like an idiot!" Didn't see the animal plot twist coming though, curious as to where it goes.AimoAio wrote:Doesn't it? His stupidity isn't actually his fault seeing as he wasn't human to begin with. Though even now, we still don't know how he was created. Oh but Gareki's malfunctioning vision was hilarious

EP4:
Hmm...I don't know if it's because I've read the manga but the anime feels sorta....not as exciting as the manga. Maybe a better word would be it's a little bland in comparison? It's like they're adapting the manga literally so it's lost that touch of hype that you normally get from following a show every week or perhaps as mentioned before, it's because I've read the manga and know exactly what's ahead. XD
Oh well, still watching it because I want to support Karneval and Silver!Yogi in the Rinoll arc will be amazing. I hope. xD

And that's why I only read the manga after I've watched all of the anime or a major part of it at least. But for me that haven't read anything of the manga I think its getting pretty interesting.AimoAio wrote: It's like they're adapting the manga literally so it's lost that touch of hype that you normally get from following a show every week or perhaps as mentioned before, it's because I've read the manga and know exactly what's ahead. Nice anime, although I really thought it would turn into shonen-ai before reading your comments as I have no idea in which genre this one falls into. XD

Re: Karneval
ENY!!!!!!!! And yeah, that's normally the case since I'm trying so hard just to NOT read the Shingeki no Kyojin manga right now. >__> But I actually started Karneval two years and have been following it pretty faithfully every month so can you imagine how excited I was last year when I found out there was an anime adaption announced? This buildup of my excitement was probably a terrible factor in contributing to me having incredibly high hopes for this anime.ChainedSky wrote:And that's why I only read the manga after I've watched all of the anime or a major part of it at least. And about your spoiler.....well, we'll see more regarding that in the Rinoll arc which should either be in the next episode or the one afterwards. I don't want to spoil too much here haha.
Anyway episode 5 was much better in terms of pacing than the previous episodes. I felt like they actually did a really great job in exploring some of the background stories surrounding Gareki/Tsubame/Yotaka by adding in a little from the Gareki's side story chapter that wasn't included in the original volume.

Ep6:
I'm quite liking the pacing in the recent episodes, much better than when they rushed through everything. And the part where Tsubame found out that
was so touching. And her resolve at the end was pretty awesome too!

Re: Karneval
I am considering picking up the manga after this finishes airing. Somehow reminds me of D.Gray Man. Oh, I should start reading that again as well .)
