ANN wrote:Kazuya Kagami's most treasured possession in the world is the obi left to him by his late mother. The scent of cherry-blossoms infused into it helps him through his day - but he never expected it to save his life, becoming a beautiful kimono-clad girl who calls herself an "artifact spirit." Her name is Kiriha, tsukumogami of the sash, who naturally moves in with him, as he is her "owner." Throw in Chisato, his bespectacled friend, an overprotective older sister who wants to take baths with him, a busty priestess, a seductive sorceress named Kokuyoura, and Kazuya's life has just gotten a lot more interesting.

I really enjoy the manga, as it's been going on since 2007 (has it really been 10 years, damn I feel even old). The problem with doing an anime on a series like this is is that the first 12 episodes are mainly monster of the week stuff as the series tries to get its legs under it and get properly started. Think of bleach, where the first 12 eps was basically ichigo fighting regular hollows for the first season (hell, in the first 12/13 eps the only sinigami that had shown up yet was Rukia). So basically the anime is going to end just before the series really starts getting good, and that means it probably won't be continued due to low viewer count. But then again this is the fate of a lot of anime adaptations of manga. The manga is just popular enough to warrant making an anime, but not popular enough to continue past the first season.
