I like how they spun his mother into it.

I watched the next episode last night and I like how that was turned out as opposed to 10.

I'm tired of Mari though. Typical girl. Proves Chris Rocks point. If you have 2 guys and one has a good girlfriend, the other thinks to himself that he would like to find a girl like that. Switch the genders and the girl without wants THAT guy. And she will slit that B's throat to get it. And look at the out come! The destruction of the planet. Women.

Further examples, the 2 guy friends, instead of trying to go after Hikari, they try to find their own girls.

Ok, I finally was able to get episode 10. Man, I never seen so many revelations in one episode. Gainax never ceases to amuse me.

Buahahaha Hikari's true feelings for Takeru (spelling) are again shown in episode 11 >=O

after seeing it all, Its not anywhere lcose to a great series, but it has its moments. The main characters, Hikari and Akari are very very cute, the settings and artwork are typically great quality. What hurts it most is its disjointedness and lack of direction. The show jumps all over the place and only regains its compsure in the last 3 episodes, where it seriously rushes its plot without all that much depth or explanation. Its something fun to watch, but its not Gainax's best moment.
