There are probably links to information out there for this movie.

It has been out in Japan for a while (and was on the Top 10 Japanese movie list for most of January, according to Anime News Network), so information on this one is probably on some Japanese InuYasha fansites.

The Inuyasha site explains a lot and gives pictures for you to look at. But it's in Japanese, to warn you. And here's a summary:

The mysterious island of Houraijima has reappeared after 50 years, and with its reappearance has brings the attack of four gods, the Shitoushin, who have their eyes set on the powers that protect and sustain the island.

Six survivng hanyou children of Houraijima send the youngest, a little girl called Ai, to the outside world for help. Arriving on the shore of the outside world, she finds Inuyasha, and asks him to help her and the others. In the past, he and Kikyou had visited Houraijima, where they fought with the Shitoushin. In doing that, Inuyasha received the "Guren," a clawlike, crimson wound (of four slashes) on his back.

Along with Kagome, Sango, Miroku, Shippou, and Kirara, he agrees to help Ai and the endangered hanyou children because of his connection to the island. Sesshoumaru had also fought one of the Shitoushin and received the same wound.

Now that Houraijima has reappeared, the wounds reappear on the backs of the six hanyou children of Houraijima, Inuyasha, and Sesshoumaru, and call for the defeat of the Shitoshin in order to break the "curse" (I'm putting that in quotes because I didnt' quite catch if it was an actual curse or just some kind of obligatoin to defeat the Shitoshin...) and make the Guren wounds disappear. It seems like the Shitoushin seek the power of the hanyou children to regenerate their own powers. Now, the oldest child, a girl named Asagi, is called to be the next sacrifice for them.

The hanyou childen explain that the power protecting the island is called the 'meidou no kama,' which holds the spirit of the miko Kanade. This miko had died fighting the four Shitoushin in the past, but not before sealing the powers of the Shitoushin into four spheres. Kanade gives Inuyasha and Asagi the sealed box containing the gods' powers...

The Shitoushin create a replica of Kikyou using her blood that they had collected when she first visited the island 50 years ago. Using this recreateion of Kikyou, the Shitoushin attack Inuyasha and use her miko powers in order to steal the sealed box containing their powers and try to break the seal of their strength...

Now it's up to Inuyasha and his friends, the six hanyou children, Sesshoumaru, and Kikyou, to find a way to defeat the poweful Shitoushin and lift the Guren wounds...

I did like this movie. Not as good as movie three in my opinon. I must admit i laughed when i say Kikyo as some warior priestess. I loved the little hanyou children but they dod get annoying after awhile. Sesshomaru was not in the movie enough for how involved he was suposed to be. Same goes with Kikyo i guess, but i just dont like her, so i dont mind.
Sorry if i gave to much away, im not so good at these sorts of things.
