For those of you who saw the dubbed version and heard Asuka say "How disgusting" at the end I say this: That was poor translating. What she was really saying that she felt sick, so she didn't that Shinji was disgusting, just her overall feeling.

See I like to take a relative happy approach at the ending of Neon Genesis. Personally I liked the way the TV show presented the ending better, but in the movie for me the both rejected instrumentality and now all the other people in the world have the choice and are deciding whether or not to accept or reject it. Shinji gave people the choice and now they are concidering it. Shinji and Asuka were the first. See NGE was a happy story

Do a Super Search with Neon Genesis Evangelion as the anime. You should get about 1000+ or so.

To beat a dead horse, I just FINALLY watched EoE last night.

Damn, if I had to draw a conclusion based on the dub, then I would have assumed it was in response to Shinji's masturbation in the opening of the movie. It opens with him jerking off and ends with her saying "disgusting" in reaction after she recovers. Just one of many possible theories I've been coming up with as to why she said that.

I thought it was all the Eva's coming together to create one and reform the planet as the one giant Eva or whatever that was, suppose it was a Angel. Ive read all this stuff and ive just come to the conclusion that the end is all about ur own perspective on it and thats it lol. More i try to contemplate this the more i feel like my heads going to explode..so..im done lol.
