SO I could just get :

Ah! My goddess (TV)
Ah! My goddess: The Movie

and maybe :Adventures of Mini-Goddess

is it alright not to get the ova ? or ?...

and it would be alright and the whole story would be there and make sense ? So they havent completed the tv series yet, will they ?

The TV and OVA versions basically cover the same ground. However they do have different events in them, so while it's not necessary to watch one to understand the other you should get both if you like AMG and want to see everything.

Hopefully that cleared it up.

Oh, and as far as I can tell, the movie and mini-goddess are also separate from both OVA and TV, in the sense that they don't follow on.

The OVA was cute and sweet. ^.^ I never got to see the movies or whatnot- and the manga was nicely drawn.

The oav has better animation simply because its an oav belldandy is cuter etc. The oav story is only part true because there was no way to fit the entire comic series in a short oav series. I prefer the oav storyline becuase it has a beggining and an end. The movie was nice but belldandy looks too much like Naru from love hina. The tv series is great because it follows the manga almost exactly. And both the oav and the tv series have great soundtracks.
