Yeah but it will be *their* Dragonball Z with their just awful dubbing. I can't see paying good money to go to a theater to see that, when I can hardly stand to watch it on Cartoon Network.

(Just my pet peeve. But I think Funimation is the main cause for why my favorite anime gets such a bad rap.)

Asside from that, I am *not* a big fan of the DBZ movies, asside from maybe Bardock (which technically wasn't a movie, it was a TV special in Japan). Akira Toriyama and the Dragonball manga had nothing to do with them, and they are nothing but filler. About as bad as the Afterlife tournament, or the Garlic jr. Saga.

I prefer to watch in the original Japanese.

It's supposed to be humorous and silly sometimes. Look at the names of the characters for pity sake (I mean the REAL names of the characters and not the English dub, and their real translations)

Chi Chi = breasts (a baby name for breasts or breast milk)
Kurinin = chestnut
Bejita = play on Vegetable
Kakarotto = carrot

No, you misunderstand me. Bejita IS a play on Vegetable, but the English word for Vegetable. That was deliberate by Akira Toriyama, since he said Vegeta was his idea of an American. Its no mistake that Vegeta gives all his attack names in English (badly pronouced English) in the Japanese DBZ.

BTW, Saiya-jin is the play on Vegetable in Japanese. Saiya-jin are basically the Vegetable people. Which is why all their names are vegetables. Bejita, Kakarotto, Nappa, Raditzu (Radish), etc.

Just as the Tsufuru-gin were the "fruit people."

That's why in GT, when Gohan asks Palace-chan, what the strange man asked her, she replies, "He asked for the Saiya-jin, and I suggested he find a grocer."

DragonBall Z was supposed to end with the Freeza Saga which it did not because Akira's wife Told him about how much people he influenced and how many people love the series, so then it spread to The Trunks Saga, where our Hero Son Gokou falls victim to a viral heart disease and then passed away following him were the rest of the Z squad exept ofcourse Son Gohan, Who heard about the deaths of his friends, And unleashed his hidden potential, he went Super Saiya-JIN One, and that was his max, but in the alternate past where Trunks pops out of no where and gives Gokou the antidote, Gohan trains with Gokou in the time chamber shortly after, then we see Gohan turning Super Saiyan One becaUSE OF THE TRAINING HE RECEIVED FROM HIS FATHER, not the anger that drove Mirai Gohan ( Bad Future Gohan) to turn super, so by achieving that level of power without anger, his hidden potential was yet to be uncovered, After that Trunks goes Ancendant but ids too slow to take out Cell, Cell tricked Trunks and pushed him to his limits, which were really bad, he should have stoped powering up at acendant lvl2 he would have creamed cell... oh well ... so 10 days later the cell games begin Gohan gets Pissed then Bam SUPA SAIYA-JIN TWO, everyone was amazed, so then he starts toying with cell until cell realized he could not defeat him, so then cell being a fag that he is decided to blow himself up taking everyone with him, but Gokou being the good he is, sacrifices himself again, to save his friends and family, leaving Chichi a widow and Gohan Fatherless, but shit happens and cell is back, There is like two plot holes in this, When Vegeta used his big bang against cell, cell told him he can regenerate if his head is left intact, it was, but when Gokou blew the fuck out of cell with a warp Kamehameha wave wtf happend? He took the top half of cell blew it to nothing, and for some reason cell regenerates and actually points at his head using his finger saying: You forgot that if my head stays intact , I thought Gokou had won the battle which he did in my view but yet he had to die, so we move on to the buu saga, bibidi babidi boo, lol, so Sato Rice is a weakling now, but decides to take it up a notch when Videl get's hurt, he turned ssj2 but at friken weak rate.... whe he was ssj2 cell saga his pl was 38000000000, now it was 20000000000, lol I thought he was like stronger but i checked the pl so he was a weakling, but yet the kaioshins were suprised by his pl... lol, he had a hard time with dabura... but in the end buu emerged, Gohan had made a huge Kamehameha That would have shred dabura but it was too slow yet he was aiming for the buu ball containment thingy, so buu the hubba buuba gumball lookin creature came to life... oh my ... during that time there was ssj2 Gokou vs Majin Vegeta... who was still pathetic in my book, anyways Vegeta sacrifices himself to be like Gokou, Haha Gokou Wannabe lol, so with his effort he dies taking along nothing with him, just his pure stupidity arogance foolishness, and his pride, Gokou who thought Gohan was dead told everyone that Gohan and Vegetable were dead, so then the tears came, Goten And Trunks Became Pricks so Gokou told them he was knocked out and Piccolo backed him and was about to yell Vegeta the fool knocked him out, but Gokou told him it was ok, so then Gokou faced lard faced buu and would have creamed him, but he chose to let him go... **Dumbass** so then we getb the fusion Gotenks yay lol, so it's yadadadadadada, then they turn ssj3 and kick buu or use buu as a voley ball, yet buu knew he was going to face a much more stronger opponent, he [played along] lol so then it was tie or some Major Kick Ass by Mystic Gohan... lol, toying with him again... buu thought of a plan and gotenks was absorbed by buu, so then Gohan had no chance until the fusion wore off then he was absorbed, so Then The strongest Character In the series was Born by potara, Vegitto the ultimate z fighter, but then the fusion fails and Gokou like always has to finish the baddie off with a spirit bomb, and so he does, And Z ended right then and there, GT Is non canon made by toei no by the original creator.

Just some information you should know.

First, Cell had said if his core was destroyed, he could not regenerate.

Second, power levels after the frieza saga are not offical. There is no offical documentation on the levels of the different characters because of the lack of scanners which frieza's men used.

Third, Vegeta's sacrifice was not to upstage Goku. His initial reasons for doing this was to put away his selfishness and for once protect the people he loved.

Fourth, the fusion of Goku and Vegeta did not fail. It was very succesful. But because of the magic used to create Buu, the magic in the Potara was broken.

Fifth, Gohan only had a hard time with Dabura because his training was severely lacking. He had the power easily to beat him but didn't remember the training he had gained earlier in his life.
