Gravitation

I love gravitation.
I've seen the series and OVA and I'm also reading the manga. It IS really addictive, the comedy specially, makes it all worth it.
My favourite character is Yuu-chan. He's just another electronica-loser, DTM failure, emotional kid just like me. And I also love to see him go berserk ^_^

My favourite song is Blind Game Again, his vocals shine there.

Everytime I try to think about what other yaoi anime series there are I always come up with Gravitation. There are alot of yaoi manga but not a real anime series. Even thou Gravitation only has 13 episodes.

It's also not yaoi. It's shounen-ai, or BL. Thank you, please try again.

Also, uh... Level C? Ai no Kusabi? Gravitation is just the most common BL gateway drug. It's by no means the only one.

Yep, very correct. Alot of people consider any Shouenen-ai series nowadays to be Yaoi.

Differences-

Shounen-Ai - Boy Love or BL, usually just a simple romantic b-b relationship.

Yaoi - Explicit romantic b-b relationships usually using almost no story plot and it's usually just full of two or more boys making out.

To tell the truth, i really can't think of any Yaoi anime either. I can name two Shounen-Ai off the top of my head: Gravitation and Loveless.
I can name some Yaoi manga though: Yellow, Only the Ring Finger Knows, and Single Cell Organism, among many more. (i've only read Yellow though, but i noticed from looking online that the covers were marked Yaoi and rated 18+ so yeah.. > >)

In the case of Shounen-ai, i prefer Gravitation over Loveless. It just seems alot better to me..

Here's a weird story. I was reading the Gravitation novel the other day, and my mom saw the cover and it had Eiri and Shuuichi on it, and she said "Are you reading a story about fags again!?" and i said "No mom, it's a story about a famous novelist's life and an upcoming music artist's life. The cover just shows the two of them, but it's nothing gay-like." She walked away, and about an hour later, sis had called her friend over to watch Gravitation on the TV with her. Mom came out and started watching it, and realized that it was the same characters from the novel (they were kissing by this point), and said "Ahh! Fags! You lied! You're a fag! >XD"

ok I see thats its shonen-ai not yaoi but if you do me like that again i will start somthing(I have an extremely short fuse)You could have just said:"Its just shonen-ai not yaoi" and i would have said "sorry, my bad" but that was just rude. I also said that's the only one I could think of. I did not say it was the only one

Thanks for the explanation.(i thought they were the same)I've read alot of shonen-ai/yaoi comics like Dost Thou Know, Only the Ring Finger Knows, Fake, Gravitation(duh), and at this very moment I'm reading Yellow(when I say right now, I mean RIGHT NOW!!!(ironic, ne?) )

XD Actually, it's the other way around. She's more twisted than funny. (and she's a poker obsessed zombie with daddy.. @_@)

I keep thinking of writing a Gravitation fanfic, but i wanna read the rest of the novel first, lol. Then again, i have a ton of manga projects i have to finish for both my studio and for myself.. @_@ Oh well..

how many manga books are there already? I know theres atleast 10 or 11.

If i remember correctly, there's 12 and all of them are out, then there's the novel, which has been translated and released in the US.^^

Gravitation is awesome! Ive seen all the EPs on TV. Havent read the Manga yet
